Perimenopause can show up in ways women don’t always expect. Not just hot flushes — concentration, memory, sleep, mood and energy can all be part of the transition.
Most supplements make promises. We looked at the research.
HerLabs was built around ingredients backed by clinical research, including randomized, placebo-controlled studies in perimenopausal women and in adults with ADHD.
Tested & proven in clinical trials
In a 12-week clinical trial involving 86 perimenopausal women, the group taking the studied saffron extract saw anxiety scores fall 33% from baseline — a significantly greater improvement than placebo.
Support that goes beyond 1 symptom
In a separate randomized, double-blind trial of 80 perimenopausal women, the group receiving the studied shatavari extract experienced significantly greater improvement than placebo across the psychological, somato-vegetative and urogenital domains of the Menopause Rating Scale.
Less drained, more like yourself
In the 8-week study of 80 perimenopausal women, the shatavari group showed significantly greater improvements in fatigue and measures of energy/vitality (vigor) compared with placebo.
Everything doesn’t have to feel like so much
In the 8-week study of 80 perimenopausal women, those taking the studied shatavari extract showed significantly greater improvements in perceived stress compared with placebo.
HerLabs was built around ingredients backed by clinical research, including randomized, placebo-controlled studies in peri- and menopausal women and in adults diagnosed with ADHD. HerLabs itself was not the tested product, and is not a treatment for perimenopause or ADHD.

Why the last thing you tried did nothing for you
Saffron
Crocus sativus
25 mg of Saffron Extract⌄
The hero ingredient, chosen at a transparent 25 mg per daily stick. Published human saffron research — in perimenopausal women and in adults with ADHD — has commonly used doses in the tens of milligrams, which is why the amount is printed rather than buried in a blend.*
Used to support: Normal Focus, Mental Clarity & Positive Mood
Shatavari
Asparagus racemosus
80 mg of Shatavari Extract⌄
A traditional women’s wellness botanical, often called the “Queen of Herbs,” included in a supporting role. HerLabs does not claim it rebalances estrogen, acts as HRT, or treats PMS.*
Used to support: Traditional Women’s Wellness Support
Purified Shilajit
Fulvic mineral complex
300 mg of Purified Shilajit⌄
A mineral-rich resin, traditionally sourced from the Himalayas, included as part of the daily vitality formula. We do not claim it makes saffron absorb better — we found no direct human evidence on that combination.*
Used to support: Part of the Daily Vitality Formula
Strawberry Honey Stick
Natural honey base
One stick, once daily⌄
One stick, once daily. The format solves a real friction point: a routine can only help if you can actually keep it — especially on the days when keeping anything feels like too much.
Used to support: A Routine You Can Realistically Keep
The goal is not to become 25 again. It is to feel recognisable to yourself now.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is HerLabs a treatment for perimenopause or ADHD? +
No. HerLabs is a dietary supplement for general wellness and normal structure/function support. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent perimenopause, menopause, ADHD or any other disease.
Why is a perimenopause product talking about attention? +
Because changes to concentration, memory and mental clarity are commonly reported during the perimenopausal transition, and because saffron has been studied separately in both contexts. We present the two bodies of research separately rather than merging them into a single claim. [P1][A1][A2]
Why 25 mg of saffron? +
We wanted saffron to be a real part of the formula, not a label decoration. A randomized perimenopause trial used 28 mg/day of a standardized extract, and an adult ADHD trial used 30 mg/day — both in the tens-of-milligrams range. HerLabs provides 25 mg per daily stick. That does not make HerLabs equivalent to any individual study formulation, and 25 mg should not be described as the clinically proven dose. [P1][A1]
What did the perimenopause saffron trial actually find? +
In 86 perimenopausal women over 12 weeks, 28 mg/day of a standardized saffron extract was associated with greater improvement in psychological symptoms and negative affect than placebo. It was not significantly better than placebo for vasomotor symptoms, somatic symptoms or other reported quality-of-life measures. [P1]
And what did the ADHD research find? +
In a six-week adjunctive trial, 56 adults already taking methylphenidate received saffron 30 mg/day or placebo. The saffron group improved significantly more on the ASRS; the CAARS difference was not significant. A 2024 systematic review found four saffron ADHD studies totalling 118 patients and called the evidence promising but limited. HerLabs itself was not the tested product. [A1][A2][A7]
Does HerLabs contain hormones? +
The current formulation is described as containing no synthetic hormones. Check the Supplement Facts panel above for the full ingredient list.
Can I take it with HRT, antidepressants or ADHD medication? +
Do not add a supplement to prescription treatment based on a product page. If you take HRT, methylphenidate, amphetamine medicines, antidepressants or other medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are managing a medical condition, ask your clinician or pharmacist to review the finished formula before use.
Does shilajit improve saffron absorption? +
We do not make that claim. We have not found direct human evidence showing that shilajit specifically increases saffron absorption.
How should I use it, and for how long? +
Use one stick daily according to the product label. The cited perimenopause trial evaluated saffron over 12 weeks and the ADHD trial over six. That does not create a guaranteed HerLabs result timeline — use it consistently and judge it by your own experience and the guarantee terms.
Is it caffeine-free? +
Yes — there is no added caffeine in the formula. Check the Supplement Facts panel above for the full ingredient list.
What if it is not for me? +
A 30-day money-back guarantee applies to your first order, and you can skip or cancel a subscription at any time. Return shipping and any exclusions are set out in our returns policy — please read it before ordering.
